We considered not having a photographer at our wedding, but ultimately thought we might regret it, so began a search for someone who we felt would capture our day the way we wanted and not blow the budget. By chance, we found David at Big Day Weddings, who offered a 4 hour session and had a load of photos that we liked the look of, so we booked him. We had a couple of Zoom meetings with David who was just great, we ended up chatting with him like we’d known him for years. We explained what we did / didn’t want from the photos and he really listened! On the day, he did convince us to do a few shots that were more posed than we might have chosen ourselves but as it turns out, they are our favourite ones and we’re so glad we went along with his vision and expertise! If you’re looking for someone who takes notice of what you want, but can gently nudge you to step out of your comfort zone, David is the photographer for you. Here we go: a standard wedding shot, this week at the lovely Fennes Wedding Venue in Essex. Congrats C & A!!! Now, with this type of image the difference between photographers is going to be: choice of light, location and lens, and most importantly how comfortable and motivated a couple feel around them. I’ve put this standard but pretty `look at the camera` capture up for several reasons. 1. To show I do these as well as all the striking stuff I’m often booked for. You have to give the couple what THEY want (and more!) and also remember these are the kind of shots that probably end up on relative’s mantlepieces! 2. These guys look great and so does the light and colours. And 3. Why not? 😊 I work fast so it’s easy for me to get a good mix of totally natural, candid and a little more directed images, and all in good time too. Thanks to Sophie and the team at Fennes as well!

Real London pigeons, Real London Eye. It’s busy down there, but it’s worth it if you are in town for your wedding, and want a real slice of the London skyline. I got lucky, the pigeons were out in force, sometimes in large numbers. I did 10 or so shots, and this one came out the most pleasing and least chaotic!

We photograph regularly at the Dorchester, Landmark, Claridges and Savoy Hotels, right through to unique and quirky venues for ceremonies and receptions like London Zoo, Lord’s Cricket Ground, The Gherkin, Trinity Buoy Wharf, The London Eye and Tower Bridge. We are at the big London registry venues multiple times a year, especially Islington Town Hall on Upper Street, Chelsea Old Town Hall on the iconic Kings Road, and last but certainly not least Old Marylebone Town Hall near Baker Street.
We are professionally trained, fully insured and accredited members of the major trade bodies including the SWPP Europe’s largest.
Since we started we have been premier Civil Partnership and London Gay Wedding Photographers, with many of the boroughs in the capital having their first such ceremonies shot by ourselves.
