Where do we even begin? David and Joanna are not just photographers/videographers; they are absolute miracle workers and brought such incredible energy to our day.
From the moment they arrived, they were perfectly on time, incredibly helpful, and just a joy to be around. They have this amazing talent for making you feel completely at ease. My partner and I felt so comfortable, and they made the entire experience feel effortless and completely natural—not staged or awkward at all.
The results speak for themselves: they captured every single image we could have wished for, and then some! They truly went above and beyond what we could have dreamed of. Looking at the photos, we are constantly surprised by the beautiful, unexpected moments they managed to snag.

We had the pleasure of having David cover our wedding in August 2025, booking his half-day package after first meeting him about 18 months prior. The booking process was smooth and straightforward.
From our initial meeting, we loved David’s vibrant energy and engaging personality. He took the time to get to know us, asking thoughtful questions to understand our vision for the day. He clearly explained his approach and what we could expect, which gave us great confidence. We wanted a blend of formal group shots and natural in-the-moment captures, which David captured brilliantly.
On the day, David arrived on time and immediately began capturing natural, heartfelt moments as our guests arrived. He moved through the space with ease, blending nicely into the celebration. He was incredibly accommodating with our requests for various photo groupings and also lovely shots that resulted in some of our favourite shots.
Despite it being one of the hottest days of the year, David’s energy and focus never wavered. He was consistently professional, enthusiastic, and attentive throughout.
The final photos are perfect — they brilliantly reflect the joy and spirit of our special day. They were everything we hoped for and more.

From the first call, we knew that we had found our perfect photographer in David. He was warm and attentive, whilst remaining super professional and organised. David was the perfect addition to our day, with his funny and engaging nature, he put us and our guests at ease whilst making the typically formal photo taking part of the day a fun experience for everyone and capturing some wonderful moments. David has a way of being present when needed, but blending into the background when it was required, enabling him to take some really candid shots.
Many of our guests also commented to us on David’s fun and friendly personality and we felt like he added to our day. Nothing was too much trouble and he came well prepared with notes we had sent him and adapted to our many changes of venues! We received our photos back a lot sooner than we expected and David went above and beyond with his care and dedication to ensure we had everything we needed to have a lifetime of wonderful memories. What can we say about David & his services... David was our photographer at our Wedding on 19.09.25. He made us felt at ease with zoom calls prior to the event to get to know us and how we are as a couple, to non stop snapping from day to night and even late into the night.

We cannot recommend David and Rory enough! The pictures and videos were so beautiful and cataloged the day perfectly. Both David and Rory were professional but human, allowing us and our guests to feeling comfortable, so much so we didn’t even recall many of the more natural pictures being taken because they were so discrete. David in particular has a wonderful sense of humour which fit well with our family and friends. We would recommend David and Rory to any prospective couples!

I love being a Stanlake Park wedding photographer, for many reasons. I love wine (in moderation!) and I love historical venues. And this wonderful Berkshire estate has both in spades. I’m no stranger to vineyard weddings both in the UK and Europe, and this is one of the best and most appealing to work at. I thought I would mark my 25th wedding so far in 2025 with a rare social media post! Congrats to J & K! Sneek peek, Kensington Palace from the weekend. One of two lovely weddings. Huge congrats to Y from Spain and C from France. We had a great time, and I loved speaking my comedy French and Spanish to the wedding party! It’s an amazing place, but the best part as always for me is the couple themselves. Albert Bridge featured here, was a special place for them so we headed down there after the ceremony. It’s such a beautiful structure, especially at night. A real architectural wonder of London. I know these guys are going to have a brilliant future. They also dance a mean Argentinian Tango! After trawling through dozens of photographers for our wedding, we chose David and Joanna and were not disappointed. We were attracted by their style and the bonus of having two photographers to ensure all angles were covered. We booked David and Joanna immediately after our first phone call enquiry – there was no need to keep looking. David’s humour as well as knowledge and professionalism made us feel at ease. We felt that David’s relaxed and humorous personality suited our personalities and that of our family and friends. We wanted a relaxed, family atmosphere and felt David and Joanna would suit that perfectly. We had an amazing engagement shoot at Alexander Palace. David gave us valuable tips for taking the perfect shot which we used on our wedding day. The photos were beautiful! Communication with David and Joanna was excellent. We had a call with David before the wedding to discuss all details of the day including the schedule and any specific shots we wanted. David brought up things about the day that we hadn’t even considered which helped us to make sure our day ran smoothly (we’ve never planned a wedding before so it was great to get insight from someone who has been to so many!). On the wedding day, David and Joanna didn’t disappoint. They were professional, timely and brought their humour and friendly personalities. When appropriate e.g. during the service, David and Joanna were discreet and nonintrusive. When needed, David and Joanna did a great job of rounding up family and directing group shots. We’ve seen some preview shots and are they are beautiful! We can’t wait to see the others. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend David and Joanna!
